Stockholmshem Website

In 2017, Stockholmshem commissioned a new homepage to modernize their online presence and improve the digital experience for tenants and visitors. Creuna was tasked with the delivery, and I was part of the small front-end team responsible for implementing the design and ensuring a fully responsive, mobile-first site that worked seamlessly across devices.

About Stockholmshem

Stockholmshem is the largest public housing company in Stockholm, owned by the City of Stockholm. Managing more than 50,000 rental apartments, Stockholmshem plays a central role in providing affordable housing while emphasizing sustainability, community engagement, and vibrant urban living.

Technology

The site was built on an Episerver CMS backend, with the front-end implemented using:

  • HTML5 and CSS3 with Sass for structure and styling
  • JavaScript for interactivity and dynamic behavior

Impact

The new homepage provided Stockholmshem with a modern, mobile-friendly platform that reflected their brand and improved usability for residents. My contributions focused on building clean, maintainable front-end code and ensuring the design adapted smoothly to both desktop and mobile contexts.

This site is built with Eleventy and hosted on Vercel.
